2 Day PADI Open Water Referral Course

If you are thinking about taking the plunge our 2 day PADI “Open Water Referral” dive course is by far the most popular way to do it. The adventure begins with PADI’s state of the art eLearning system where you can complete the theory and testing portions of the course from the comfort of your own home, (or if you work in an office and get bored ;). On you have completed the online portion in your preferred language bring the test results to your local dive shop for your confined water or pool training. Its best to get to know your local shops and dive clubs so you can continue diving when you are not on holidays!!

Once your online portion and confined water portions are completed, bring your referral forms and logbook with you. From there your private instructor will complete your in ocean training on the Great Barrier Reef. That’s right whether you are a single person, group of friends or family, your instructor is yours and yours alone for the day.

Your referral course includes 6 dives on some of the best dive sites the Outer Great Barrier Reef has to offer as well as plenty of time to, relax and really enjoy the reef experience. All this makes this course unmatched for experience and value.

During your time in Cairns we strongly recommend attending ‘Reef Teach’.  ‘Reef Teach’ is a fun and informative marine biology presentation that will greatly enhance your diving experience and launch into the amazing world of marine life that awaits below the surface.
